Hi there! I am so happy to have you here and getting to know Emily Bean as she explores the depths of her imagination.

 

Emily Bean was created when my daughter Keira was only 3, in 2011. I wrote the story on lined paper without any illustrations. We read it so much that the paper began to wear out. For 10 years Emily's story has been sitting in the same journal and although Keira is much older now, she was worried the story would be lost and slip away forever. I had two options, type up the story and have it sit around for another 10 years, or publish the story so that she could continue her adventures through the hearts of others.

 

I will always remember this story being told to Keira and subsequently Liam about an empowered girl who took her own rocket ship, landing on every planet that she could, and making it back in time to be with her mom before bed.  A story that we, as adults can still relate to and bring us back to our youth and inner child.

Through the magic of the extremely talented, Mykhail Ridkous we brought Emily to life. We are excited to share this journey with you as we develop the World of Emily Bean.

Her first story became available through Amazon in paperback and Kindle, October 10, 2021.

Emily Bean and the Ocean Marine, the second book in the series, will be available worldwide August 28, 2022.
